Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... The PK star has a supporting - literally - role in his next film
Aamir Khan likes to keep things firmly under his proverbial hat. We know that he is training hard to play wrestler Mahavir Phogat in Dangal. And now we've just got news of his next project.
In a recent interview, Aamir said that he liked a script by a young director and might soon be producing it.
So we just had to find out what the project is all about. SpotboyE The Show found out that the young director in question is none other than Aamir’s manager Advait Chandan, who is turning director - its a given that hed approach his boss for support!
The film showcases the troubled life of a 15-year old girl trying to rescue her mother from her abusive father.
But, hold on! Aamir will not play the father. Instead, he has opted for the part of an alcoholic divorcee who helps the girl with her problems. Hmm now this sounds familiar, no? We saw Aamir in Taare Zameen Par helping a young child through a learning disability, remember?
Meanwhile, the casting for Dangal has created a ripple of excitement among young heroines.
We hear that Deeksha Seth - who starred in Lekar Hum Deewana Dil with Mohit Marwah - has auditioned for the role of Mahavir Phogats daughter Geeta. She is busy training for the film, we are told. Others who have auditioned for the film include Taapsee Pannu and Akshara Haasan.
